Registration OPEN Oct 4 - Dec 19! Limited Spots Available!Boys and Girls entering 1st - 8th grade for the 26-27 School year will be able to register.
SPECIAL NOTE: This program is limited in it capacity based on the facilities at FBC-Laurel.
Volunteer Application: If you are interested to volunteer as a coach or referee for this winter 2027 season, please email basketball@fbclaurel.com before registering your child(ren). Then use the link below. Upon approval you will receive a coaching discount for your first child.
Important Dates:
Registration Opens: October 4, 2026
Early Bird Registration Ends: November 7, 2026
Registration Closes: December 19, 2026
Basketball Player Evaluations (choose one):
• Saturday, November 21, between 9am and 11am (players only)
• Saturday, December 20, between 9am and 11am (players only)
Cheer Orientation:
Cheerleading orientation will take place at the Season Tipoff Event.
Season Tipoff Event: Saturday, January 2, 2026, 10am to 11am (players and cheerleaders - mandatory coaches meeting immediately following)
First Practices: Week of January 4, 2027
First Game: Saturday, January 23, 2027
Level 4 All-Star Game: Friday, March 19, 2027
Awards Ceremony: Saturday, March 20, 2027
Costs
$140 if paid by November 7th, and $150 if paid after November 8th.
What's Included?
Basketball players will receive a jersey, shorts, t-shirt, and an end of season award. Cheerleaders will receive a cheer top and skort, poms, megaphone, hair ribbon, and an end of season award.
Practices and Games
All practices and games are held on our campus at:
First Baptist Church, 15000 First Baptist Lane, Laurel, MD 20707.
Each team will have 1 practice a week for 1 hour either on Mo, Tu, Th, or Fr.
Games are on Saturdays and are 1 hour long.
There are 8 games in the season.
